Here is a short list of some of my favorite authors. When I was just starting on this journey, we didn’t have YouTube like we do today. All I had were books. I learned a lot over the years and I absolutely love reading, but haven’t had much time for it lately, so Audiable has become a great resource. I can listen to a book while doing housework or driving in the car. My library also uses an app called Overdrive. All I have to do is put in my library card number and I can download lots of free digital e-books or audio books. Most libraries use something so check out your local library to see what options they have.
Sylvia Browne: I have to credit her for doing a great job of explaining metaphysical concepts to Christians. It was her books that made me seriously consider reincarnation. I was introduced to her when I was pregnant with my daughter and was looking for spiritual ideas to teach my daughter. I recommend The Other Side and The Other Side and Back. These books answer all the questions about what our deceased loved ones experience on the other side.
Eckhart Tolle: I would recommend any of his books. I love how he takes religious teachings, spiritual concepts and psychology and creates something new. Books I recommend, A New Earth and The Power of Now.
Dr Wayne Dyer: I have learned something new from each of his books every time I read, or re-read them. Some of my favorite include You’ll See it When You Believe It, “I Can See Clearly Now, and There’s a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem. He tells the best stories and they help make his concepts clear.
Jerry and Esther Hicks: I can’t say enough about how much these two have influenced me. If you are not a big reader, just go to YouTube and type in Abraham Hicks. You will find hundreds of videos on every subject you can think of. But if you like books, The Vortex, Ask and it is Given, The Astonishing Power of Emotions and The Law of Attraction are some of the best. These all have very practical guides to learning how to stay in alignment as much as possible and in turn manifesting what you desire.
